When I called Performance Automotive of San Diego this morning to see if I could have my car towed in, they answered the call, and offered to come in early to meet me and the tow truck there. I thought my alternator had gone out and after a quick diagnostic check confirmed this to be true. His wife ran the registration process, and she was just as nice as he was. I recieved a very reasonable quote and was set to wait for my alternator to be replaced. When my car was lifted, another repair man noticed my brakes were really bad and needed to be replaced as well. They quickly replaced my old quote with a new one that was still very reasonably priced. Thank goodness they offered FlexPay Plus, so I am able to make interest free payments on my bill. While my car was being worked on I was able to sit nearby in the garage. I was able to ask questions while they were repairing and they even let me see and touch the old brakes compared to the new ones. I like to ask a lot of questions and it was great to be right there while they worked on my car and ask about the repairs. This is the best auto repair shop I have been to in over 15 years.
